Sustainability: new photovoltaic system and 45% of energy needs produced by us

45: a number like any other? Not for us. It represents an important milestone that we have reached to make our winery increasingly sustainable.
Thanks to the commissioning of the new photovoltaic system positioned on the roof of the wine shop, adding its power to that of the existing systems, we are now able to produce 45% (513 kWp) of the annual energy needs of the entire company.
And the new system (144.43 kWp) is also equipped with accumulators with a power of 69.6 kWp that will allow us to self-consume the excess electricity produced during the day in favor of the systems that are constantly operating at night.
